86 years ago, a great, tenacious and austere man started one of the first companies to satisfy the needs of the emerging automotive industry in Chile.
Mr. José Allué Barea, with his first company, made up his great family to which, through the years, transmitted and taught them the trade learnt from his parents in his motherland. Today, this allows Mr. Enrique Allué Hernández to preside over the currently first great vehicle equipment company in Chile, Conversiones San José Ltda.
In 2002, the company built its new industrial plant located in Parque Industrial Puerto Santiago, at 5 minutes from the International Airport of Santiago.
Enrique Allué Nualart, General Manager of Conversiones San José, received the same education as his father, being today the head of this great company, in which works a high quality team of professionals. Since 2005, the aforementioned allowed the implementation of the Quality Management System ISO 9001-2008, to satisfy the international and national market requirements.
Conversiones San José is today the first company in the automotive area that makes non-traditional exports, and it also has strengthened successful alliances with prestigious automotive distributors, in order to expand the alternatives of products and to give higher support, and a better service for its clients.
TMG, Technology Motor Group, was created in 2007, which is a new brand oriented to satisfy different markets and clients belonging to the Security Vehicles Area.
In 2009, TMG moved its facilities and started its new industrial plant, now located at #9750 Claudio Arrau, in the same industrial park (Parque Industrial Puerto Santiago), and it counts with a total of 23,000 m2, and 7,000 m2 constructed with new facilities that give a bigger and better answer to the requirements of the clients.
In the same year, the TMG product range increases with the creation of a new area dedicated to the buses and minibuses manufacturing for the urban and suburban service; its first project is the development of a range of bodyworks for buses, Bicentenario model.
Moreover, some measures are being implemented in order to contribute to the environmental care; such as to reduce the production of toxic waste, to recycle material, to improve the management of raw materials and processes that affect the environment, etc., being this the first and only one company in managing, in a consistent way, the care and environmental safety issue.
In 2014, we got the first worldwide BioGelCoat patent, which is a covering system of copper nanoparticles used in all the lateral and superior walls at the inside of our ambulances.
