• This innovative product unique in Chile and the world was developed by the company Conversions San Jose (CSJ).
• The Health Service Viña del Mar-Quillota acquired four ambulances, while Atacama Network bought an emergency vehicle, with the aim of collaborating with technology in the recent disaster in northern Chile.

Chile already has the first ambulances with copper nanoparticles in the world. The first service health emergency vehicles purchase copper was inside Network Health Vina del Mar-Quillota, an institution that bought four ambulances with advanced technology. The company that developed this innovation was Conversions San Jose, the first major vehicle equipment company in Chile.

Copper nanoparticles are present on all surfaces of side and top walls of ambulances. The innovation that made CSJ aims to eliminate up to 99% of germs, bacteria, viruses and fungi that settle in the inner cubicle these transports.

"Equipped with this technology, we can ensure that the surfaces are contaminated with bacteria higenizadas, reducing the chances of infection into the ambulance," said General Manager CSJ, Enrique Allué Nualart.

Then he added: "Our BioGelcoat with copper nanoparticles helps eliminate a high percentage of agents that can cause infections with different diseases to which they took the patient into the ambulance," Allué said.
